After the update the battery life dropped to less than half I used to have, and I tend not to play with it just as much, and it leaves a bitter aftertaste when I think about this, and it's not what I want, honestly. As in I can't see or find the Wipe data and cache. This is now called just Wipe data, and when accessing this menu item, I do not have a Factory reset option.
Can you please advise on this as well? One last option for me, would be to revert back to Oxygen OS 4. Each of this glitches and issues, only damage my trust in the phone, and I really do not want to go and buy a Samsung. Also, I did not check your refund policy, but as I bought the phone on the 28th of March, I still have 10 days or less to return it and ask for my money back, which I really do not want to do either, but it's an option. Please advise. Thank you, Alexandru Savu.
Donut Apr 20, I am facing exactly the same issue. I was really happy with the OnePlus 3T, and I decided not to install too many apps only Google apps and a few I can really trust , so the phone would work properly and battery usage won't be affected too much.
But since the update, battery is draining much faster, even while I'm not using the phone. The issue with the screen staying on is still present. When I wake up in the morning, I have to snooze the alarm clock a couple of times before I wake up.
I use the volume down button to snooze, but this means that the screen would stay on for over half an hour because I fall asleep again.
I don't know what to do now and don't understand what caused this as I am very careful with what I install on my phone.
