He manages to stumble across one of the New Gen murders and comes across the person who is most probably the one who did it. It just so happens to be a cute girl who takes a shine to him. The story has a lot of depth in the relationship between these two characters as Takumi is sure that he has never seen her before, but there is more to it than that. Chaos;Head is like other visual novel games where it gives you choices to make as you play.

One thing that is quite interesting about this game is that the choices you make are either a good or bad delusion. I am sure you can take a stab at what the difference will be, but holy crap I was not prepared for how horrific and messed up some of these are. I am a huge horror fan so it takes a lot to shock me, but this game managed it on a couple of occasions. I liked this mechanic overall and this was the main reason I went back to play through the game again.

The remake boasts a higher resolution, redrawn backgrounds and CGs, new music, and added heroine routes; these routes contained much needed additional story information that was missing from the original game. Takumi Nishijou is the protagonist of Chaos;Head. He is a second-year high school student that lives a NEET-like lifestyle inside of a metal container. He spends most of his time playing games and watching anime.

Rimi Sakihata is a mysterious girl that Takumi encounters at the scene of a murder, one of many in a series of brutal homicides known as the New Generation Madness. Though her relationship with Takumi is a bit sweet-and-sour, she cares deeply about him. Yua Kusunoki is a third-year student at Suimei Academy.

Takumi believes that she may be stalking him at first, but he later befriends her due to their mutual interest in anime and manga. Her lyrics have a strange prophetic power that seem to predict the future murders in the New Generation Madness. Kozue Orihara is a small second-year student at Suimei Academy. Sena Aoi is an unfriendly, aggressive third-year student at Suimei Academy. She has an obsession with a certain brand of blue popsicles. If you have a physical copy, follow these instructions.
