When you insert the disc there and the game installs and downloads the update, there is still no option at all to redownload the DLC for that game. The games and have been delisted from PSN. But because of that they left out the option to redownload already purchased DLC for the disc based games.
If they were bought digital and you redownload them, the option is there. This is an advantage to going digital on PSN. As also mentioned before, with so many current games relying on patches post launch, physical collectors are going to have broken and almost useless games. The plus side to that headache is, since I guess they can't really revoke a digital copy, it means I can get the codes and be able to gift the physical copy to my younger brother so we can play together.
